Matthew Gallatin takes a close look at Romans 9:14-21 to see whether it indeed supports the doctrine of unconditional election. What he finds is that such an interpretation fails on two counts: It does not fit with the context of the passage, and it fails to understand the verses in the comprehensive light of scripture.
