101: C.S. Lewis And Orthodoxy
February 13, 2009 Length: 33:10
Everyone in Christendom claims noted Christian author C.S. Lewis as one of their own! Met. Kallistos Ware calls him an "anonymous Orthodox". In this edition of the Illumined Heart, C.S. Lewis scholar Chris Jensen and Kevin Allen examine key beliefs of C.S. Lewis and find that he is far more patristic in ethos and praxis than he is a "mere" Christian! "I am getting so much from this huge resource. I am a Catholic but feel very close to you guys with your inspiring love of Tradition, the Fathers, the liturgy, monasticism. It's so easy to be a rootless Christian today, only superficially connected or even severed from these treasures. Please pray for me as I will for you and your ministry."
