V. Rev. Fr. George Morelli Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist, Chairman of the Department of Chaplaincy and Pastoral Counseling Ministry of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese, and Religion Coordinator (and Antiochian Archdiocesan Liaison) of the Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology and Religion. Fr. George is Assistant Pastor of St. George’s Antiochian Orthodox Church, San Diego, California.
In addition he has taught university and seminary undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and pastoral theology, and supervised doctoral clinical psychology interns. He has authored numerous articles on pastoral and psychological topics in journals magazines and books.. He is author of the book, Healing: Orthodox Christianity and Scientific Psychology, Fairfax VA: Eastern Christian Publications.
