From December 4th through the 6th, 2009, St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin, hosted a retreat on the Christmas Gospels that featured the wisdom and insight of Fr. Gregory Jensen. Fr. Gregory was ordained to the Holy Priesthood by His Eminence Metropolitan MAXIMOS at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, he and his wife live in Madison, Wisconsin, where Matushka Mary works as a lawyer and Father earns his keep as an independent scholar and writer. In this series of lectures, Fr. Gregory reexamines the Gospel passages associated with Christmas, paying particular attention to the various ways in which the good news of Christ’s birth was received by those around him.
