From February 5th through the 6th, 2010, St. Michael Orthodox Church in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted The Climacus Conference of Thoughtful Ascent. This gathering, dedicated to the contemplation of noble ideas, featured lectures on classical education, postmodernism, poetry, patristic thought, logic and rhetoric, motherhood, and the Great Books. Speakers included John Granger, Bobby Maddex, Theron Mathis, David Wright, and Molly Sabourin.
