Meet our Team

John Maddex is CEO of Conciliar Media Ministries, a publishing-and-radio outreach operating both Ancient Faith Radio and Conciliar Press. He has 40 years experience in broadcasting, having served at the Moody Bible Institute and Focus on the Family. He was responsible for Moody’s 35 owned-and-operated radio stations for much of that time. John serves on the boards of the Fellowship of St. James, which publishes Touchstone and Salvo magazines, and has served on the board of the National Religious Broadcasters. He and his wife Tonya live in Chesterton, Indiana, and have two adult children and seven grandchildren.

Tonya Maddex is Office and Donor Relations Manager for Ancient Faith Radio. She has worked as a Christian bookstore manager, floral designer, and public-relations specialist. Tonya and John founded Ancient Faith Radio together in their home in 2004.

Bobby Maddex is a Senior Editor of Salvo magazine, Operations Manager of Ancient Faith Radio (AFR), host of the AFR podcast “The Orthodox Moviegoer,” and a freelance writer and speaker on topics related to faith and culture. Bobby graduated from Wheaton College in 1994 with a degree in Political Science. After spending five years as senior editor of Gadfly, a national arts-and-culture publication out of Charlottesville, Virginia, and serving a one-year stint as the marketing director of Touchstone magazine in Chicago, he earned a Masters Degree in British Literature from DePaul University in 2002. He and his wife Paige live in Chesterton, Indiana.

Fr. John Schroedel is pastor of St. Juvenaly Orthodox Mission in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i, and a graduate of St. Vladimir’s Seminary. Before moving to the most isolated island chain in the world, he served as OCF Chaplain at the University of Chicago. He also runs Orthodox Internet Services.

Greg Lambert is a producer for Ancient Faith Radio. He attended Northwestern University where he majored in Speech and Communications.  He is retired after thirty years in the health insurance business.  Greg and his wife currently live in Ada, Michigan, and have four children and three grandchildren.

Paige Maddex is a producer for Ancient Faith Radio. Paige earned a Masters Degree from Loyola University in 1999 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She served as a school counselor for five years and a private practitioner for another three. She and her husband Bobby live in Chesterton, Indiana, and have three daughters.

Matthew Dorning lives in Lee’s Summit, MO, is married to Melinda and has 3 children. He is an experienced graphics designer having most recently worked for Hallmark cards and also has experience in both marketing and publishing. AFR played a key role in Matthew and his family coming to Orthodoxy.
